According to the survey that was conducted at the Steve Evans Capital Bank, employees struggle with utilizing their time effectively to incorporate physical activity within their day.
In order to overcome this wellness challenge, the Fogg Behaviour Model will be used. To motivate the employees, they will be encouraged to do low effort endurance and flexibility workouts. These workouts can range from walking (outside if possible) or stretching for 15 min or completing one of the workouts thats provided under the Workout tab. In order to prompt employees to participate in workouts, visible clues will be shown within the office (infographics). In addition, making sure that employers and managers play a role in the process by allowing employees to partake in physical activities throughout the workday. To facilitate the wellness challenge, employees will be given the opportunity to sign up for emails. The main objective of the emails will be to send snippets of the workouts to employees on a daily basis in order to motivate them to achieve what is expected (meet physical activity guidelines). Snippets act as a reminder and give instructions to employees to help them reach their level of ability in order to change their behaviour (Stuckey, Carter & Knight, 2017). Employees need a clear call to action. The overall goal is to increase physical activity within Steve Evans Capital Bank
